Is ADHD keeping you stuck?

We've got your back.

Simple strategies.

Big results.

Everything feels urgent, but nothing gets done

Sound familiar?

  • For every project you finish, you have six projects that are still half-finished

  • A 3 p.m. doctor's appointment means you're can't do anything from 8 a.m. to 2:59 p.m. because you're too busy waiting

  • You're on your fifth digital task manager, and this one doesn't help either

  • At last count, you have 10,435 unread emails

  • Doing the dishes leaves you exhausted, but you get energized after spending 10 hours straight editing your latest video

What if you could finally get sh*t done?

Picture this:

You wake up eager to start the day because you have a simple, clear plan in place.

You finish your workday knowing exactly what to focus on next, without second-guessing.

That email draft? Done in five minutes, not five hours.

Your projects are completed, not abandoned halfway through.

It’s not magic — it’s a better way, tailored just for you.

Let me tell you about Cocoa Puffs

pexels-jessica-latorre-98493258-9321466.jpg

You’re in the grocery store, and as you’re walking down the cereal aisle, you notice a woman struggling to reach the Cocoa Puffs on the top shelf.

She stands about 5 feet tall. The Cocoa Puffs shelf is about 6.5 feet high.

Do you:

a. Ignore her, leaving her to settle for the Shredded Wheat on the bottom shelf

b. Give her a dirty look and tell her she ought to be able to reach the Cocoa Puffs

c. Reach up and grab her a box of Cocoa Puffs

d. Mention to her that you saw a small stepstool in the bread aisle

You need a stepstool (not Shredded Wheat)

Those of us with ADHD spend way too much time eating our metaphorical Shredded Wheat.

And we spend way, way, waaaayyyy too much time being made to feel like there’s something wrong with us for not being able to reach the Cocoa Puffs.

Well, you’re safe here – neither one of those things will happen to you here at Strategic Squirrels.

I won’t be grabbing the Cocoa Puffs for you, either. Why? Because you’re perfectly capable of getting your own Cocoa Puffs. And it would be insulting for me to think you’re not.

What I am going to do is tell you about the stepstool. And I’ll even help you find the bread aisle.

Why the Cocoa Puffs are so hard to reach

ADHD isn’t a character flaw — it’s a neurological difference.

It affects how your brain regulates attention, motivation, emotion, and time — so strategies that work for neurotypical brains often don't work for yours.

Here's how your ADHD brain works:

  • Motivation isn't logical  it's electric. You don't get moving because something's important. You move when it's urgent, novel, interesting, or challenging.

  • Time is a blur. "I'll do it later" often turns into "oops, didn't do it." Deadlines only feel real when they're breathing down your neck.

  • Starting is the hardest part. You're capable of incredible things once you get moving. But starting? That's rough.

  • Emotions hit like a tidal wave. Rejection, shame, and frustration don't just sting. They can derail your entire day.

  • Focus is all or nothing. You either forget to eat because you're so dialed in — or you can't stay on task for more than 10 seconds.

Your brain is brilliant

When you understand how your ADHD brain works, you stop beating yourself up and start building a life that fits.

My approach is neurodivergent-affirming, not shaming.

Here’s what that looks like in practice:

  • I help you understand your unique brain so you can stop second-guessing yourself and start playing to your strengths

  • We design flexible, ADHD-friendly systems that work in your real life, not just some hypothetical "perfect" world

  • You get to drop the mask, trust your instincts, and start showing up as your full, authentic self

Strategic support that empowers you

IMG_0445_edited_edited.jpg

I’m Mary Pasciak, an ADHD coach and former investigative journalist. And I have ADHD, too.

I’ve spent years digging deep — into systems, stories, and human behavior. This is what I’ve learned: Most of the advice out there isn’t built for brains like ours.

I created Strategic Squirrels Coaching to change that.

Here's how I can help: compassion, unconditional support, and strategies that actually work for your brain.

You don’t need fixing. You just need a better map. And I’d love to help you create it.
